The story

Why an owl

In Indian tradition, every deity travels on a vahan, the one who carries them. Lakshmi ji arrives on an owl. She comes on amavasya, the darkest night of the month, and the owl is the one who can see the way through it.

We've paired the owl with our sunscreens for a simple reason. Just as the owl carries her through the dark, what we make carries you into the light.

On Diwali, we protect the light in our homes. Every morning after, we protect the light on your skin.
